Craig Stevens, President of Genesis 360, LLC has been appointed by the Louisiana Governor, John Bel Edwards, to the Residential Building Contractors Subcommittee to represent the 6th Congressional District. The subcommittee, "serves to protect the public from incompetent and fraudulent acts of residential contractors while promoting the integrity of the construction industry."
Mr. Stevens is a native of Opelousas, Louisiana and the owner of GENESIS 360, LLC. After 25 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the 93rd Bomb Squadron, he retired as a Captain and started Genesis 360, LLC in 2011. In 2017, the company received 8(a) certifications, and Veteran Owned certification from the Small Business Administration along with DBE certification from the Louisiana Department of Transportation & Development. Mr. Stevens says of his appointment to the Residential Building Contractors Subcommittee, "I am honored to be appointed by the governor as this shows he believes Genesis 360 embodies what Building Contractors look for in a committee member."
